Albert George FLIGHT. Private 13933, 8th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment. Killed Monday 3 July 1916. His name also appears on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Pier and faces 5A and 5b. Grave MR0021
Born December 1893 in Ruscombe to George(1856-1897) & Fanny T(1858-1937) FLIGHT. In the 1911 census he was aged 17, single, occupation Tailor, living with his widowed mother at Stores Cottages Ruscombe.
Sidney Francis FLIGHT. Private 241597, 13th (Service) Battalion (Forest of Dean) Pioneer, Gloucestershire Regiment. Killed Saturday 20 April 1918, Flanders. His name also appears on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 72 to 75.
Born 4 October 1896 in Whiteshill to Walter Charles(1867-1939) & Louisa(1867-1949) FLIGHT. In the 1911 Census he was aged 14, occupation Tailors Cutter, living with his parents at Whiteshill.
