Moreton-in-Marsh War Memorials

The main war memorial is located in the Market Square, High Street [OS Map Ref: SP 205 326]. It lists the dead of both World Wars and the Korean War. Also included are the names of the fallen from the small neighbouring village of Batford

Lady Chapel, St. David's church, contains a war memorial, listing the fallen of both World Wars and also those who died after their return from World War I.

During WWII there was an RAF airfield at Moreton In Marsh. Nearly opposite where it was located is the Moreton In Marsh new cemetery, which contains a CWGC section with the graves of 47 airmen that were killed flying from the base.
